Why a lighting artist talks lenses
At the studio I decide where light comes from in a CG shot. On the channel I do the same with real glass and real light: how a lens flares, how it falls off, why a frame feels the way it does.
The channel shares its look with the tools I build: the titles are made with Keylight Titles, where every piece of text is lit by a light source.
